SOUNDBITE 1 (English): DJAUHARI ORATMANGUN, Indonesian Ambassador to China
"We would like to continue to strengthen, to facilitate the strengthening of the relationship between Indonesia and China. The relations are very good, like trade relations, investment relations, and also people-to-people relations. In my opinion, people-to-people relationships are important. If it's good, we will understand each other better."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): DJAUHARI ORATMANGUN, Indonesian Ambassador to China
"In the future, both governments will concentrate cooperation on health infrastructure meaning medicine, medical devices and hospitals, digital economy, infrastructure, green economy like sustainable development, electric vehicles, etc. We would like to see as well that the cooperation in fishery and in agriculture should be continued as well in many years to come."

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): DJAUHARI ORATMANGUN, Indonesian Ambassador to China
"We want to create an EV ecosystem in Indonesia. Within the context that we already established cooperation with some of the EV companies in China, such as Wuling, recently BYD, Chery, and of course, it will continue in the very near future. EVs from China are very popular in Indonesia. My son even bought a Chery car in Indonesia. So interesting."

SOUNDBITE 4 (English): DJAUHARI ORATMANGUN, Indonesian Ambassador to China
"So we would like to establish and emulate what you have been doing so far in the EV ecosystem in Indonesia because this is in line with the green economy as well. We want to get stronger as well as cooperation for vocational training. Vocational training education is very important as well for Indonesia to fill the gap. If the industry is going up, we need to fill the gap."

SOUNDBITE 5 (English): DJAUHARI ORATMANGUN, Indonesian Ambassador to China
"If we are able to continue to cooperate, to strengthen cooperation - Indonesia, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), and China - I think will somehow contribute to maintaining peace and security in the region and at the global level."
