Huge tailbacks as M6 Southbound is closed after lorry crashes through central reservation in Lancashire, England
Huge tailbacks have formed after a lorry carrying a trailer crashed through the central reservation on a Motorway.
The vehicle which was pulling a lowlowder with another trailer on, careered through the barrier of the M6 between Junction 36 and 35 Southbound and jackknifed infront of horrified travellers coming the other way.
The incident happened near Carnforth in Lancashire at around 7pm.
Ambulance crews an police officers raced to the scene as travellers got out of their vehicles as they waited to be allowed through as they were stuck in huge tailbacks.
It is not known if there were any injuries.
