A storm whipped through a family's home ruining their outdoor dinner in Thailand.

Cholada Kadajit and her relatives were preparing a barbecue at their patio when strong winds and heavy rain hit Sakhon Nakhon province on April 19.

CCTV footage shows the family bringing the trays and dishes indoors as the storm blew plates and cups onto the floor.

Cholada said: 'The storm caused food to be scattered everywhere.'

The Thailand Meteorological Department said that day that northeastern Thailand including Sakon Nakhon would experience hot to very hot weather during the day, with haze and isolated thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds in the afternoon.
