A golden retriever demonstrated her excellent diving skills in southern China.

The incredible video was filmed in Ningde City in Fujian Province on April 15.

A 3-year-old golden retriever named Shan Dian, which means lightning in English, was seen easily diving under the water with stomping paws, picking up a stick at the bottom of the water as a trophy before turning around and surfacing again.

Shan Dian has loved water since she was a puppy. She dared to jump into the water when she was only 76 days old, and she was able to dive when she was 5 months old.

As time went by, Shan Dian gradually mastered her diving skills. She can retrieve various items from the water, such as mobile phones, sticks, watches, gold ingots, silver dollar treasures, stones, toys, etc.

The deepest recorded dive by Shan Dian is around 4.5 metres.

Shan Dian's owner is also an outdoor sports lover, and he accompanies Shan Dian to dive every time, using a motion camera to capture the moment.

The owner said his purpose is very simple: as a dog's life is only around ten years, he wants to use a small lens to record their dog's big world.
