Chinese man adopts four kittens found in his car engine during commute
A man adopted four kittens that he found in his car engine during a commute in eastern China.
The video was filmed in Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province on April 21.
Zhu was on his routine commute to work when he heard cats meowing. Initially dismissing it as a sound from outside, the meowing persisted, prompting him to pull over and inspect his car. To his astonishment, nestled within the engine compartment, Zhu found four tiny kittens.
Without hesitation, Zhu called his spouse to bring a bag and carefully extracted the kittens, placing them inside for safety. He then rushed to a nearby veterinary clinic.
Thankfully, a thorough examination confirmed that all four feline friends were in perfect health.
Zhu revealed that the kittens were likely placed under the hood by their mother during a recent torrential downpour, seeking refuge from the storm.
With the mother cat nowhere to be found, Zhu and his family have decided to adopt the kittens, giving them a forever home filled with love and safety.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
