Multiple Ulez cameras were seen vandalised or removed by activists opposing the environmental scheme in North Cheam, South London, ahead of the Mayoral election next week (April 26).

The Conservative candidate Susan Hall announced that she would scrap the extended scheme covering the outer London boroughs if she is voted in from 'day one'.

Sadiq Khan who introduced the scheme has no plans to reverse it.

Cameras lenses were filmed covered in white paint and one appeared to have been burnt, one camera was sawn off its post and an electrical box housing wires for another was filled with foam.
