The 2024 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum) wrapped up on Monday in Beijing. Themed "Innovating for a Better World," this year's annual conference of the forum comprised five major sections, including meetings and technology trading.

It promoted the exchange of brilliant ideas in 6G, blockchains, and other frontier areas at nearly 120 events.

The competitions in cutting-edge fields attracted over 3,100 entries from 75 countries and regions, while the technology trading section attracted over 6,000 projects from more than 40 countries and regions.

Participants regarded the event as a great platform to explore the latest industry trends and seek potential partners.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): HENRY GE, Vice President of SINOBO, CEO and Chief Architect of GTVerse
"At the Zhongguancun Forum, we can discuss with industry partners and ecosystem partners to bring a form of the next-generation internet, which is driven by artificial intelligence, empowered by large models, and particularly guided by scenarios, into our society as soon as possible. This will make it a powerful tool for our digital transformation and a foundational productivity platform for our digital society.

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): LIN BEILA, NetEase Yaotai Commercial Director
"At the Zhongguancun Forum, we have the chance to engage with various partners to exchange ideas on the latest advancements in technology. This event offers a valuable platform for us to learn from and interact with each other."

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): ARNOUT JACOBS, President of Springer Nature for Greater China
"It is very inspiring, indeed. There are many experts from all over the world, and it is very impressive organization. The momentum is extremely strong.
It is highly encouraged. I can see that in this forum. China is really open to the world that wants to collaborate, and that is also our mission, so we are very happy with this."

Founded in 2007, the ZGC Forum, with its enduring focus on innovation and development, has evolved into a national-level open innovation platform and an international forum over the years.

Located in northwestern Beijing, Zhongguancun houses more than 17,000 national high-tech enterprises. It is China's first national high-tech industrial development zone and is known as "China's Silicon Valley."
