Nebraska worker captures terrifying yet remarkable tornado encounter
Derek Spiczka, a resident of Waverly, Nebraska, found himself amid chaos when a tornado struck the area on April 26. While at work, he and his colleagues were alarmed by screams signaling the tornado's approach.
Looking out the front windows, Derek spotted the tornado about 1-1.5 miles away, confirmed to be an F3.
Despite feeling a mix of terror and awe at the power of Mother Nature, Derek managed to record a clip before seeking safety. Reflecting on the experience, he described it as the most insane thing he had ever witnessed.
