Amusing footage of a man lying down on a hoverboard at a gaming event, only to suddenly start moving rapidly backwards and crashing into a table of computers.

The video, filmed in South Carolina, USA in February, shows a friend of the filmer lying on the hoverboard and riding around a convention centre.

Towards the end of the clip, he goes flying into a table.

According to the filmer, the end result was "two broken Xbox Ones and two broken monitors.

The hoverboard rider apparently had to repay the manager for the damage.

I was attending a Call Of Duty videogame event with my friend at the Myrtle Beach convention centre (named UMG South Carolina). We got there early so we decided to volunteer to help setup the console stations (Xbox One and expensive low latency monitors) ready for the players to compete when the event opens. We got a couple of free shirts for our help. We finally finished after about 2 hours when we met this guy who had a hoverboard, he let my buddy ride on it which is when I started recording.
