This is the heartwarming moment a five-year-old boy helped his grandmother after she collapsed on the floor.

The elderly woman was at home with her two young grandchildren when she fell due to low blood sugar in Xilingol, Inner Mongolia, China on January 20.

Footage shows the children rushing towards the woman on the ground. They checked on her, but she was only mumbling words.

The boy then called his parents and grandfather to show them his grandma lying dizzy on the ground.

While waiting for help, he cradled his sister for a brief moment to calm her. He then tried to help his grandmother lie on her back.

Within five minutes, the adults arrived and rushed her to the hospital for a checkup. According to them, she is now fine.

A family member said: 'She was there to help clean up the storage room of the house in preparation for New Year.'
