Star Wars Day celebrated by shopping mall in Thailand
A shopping mall is hosting a weeklong celebration marking 25 years of Lego Star Wars to mark the popular May 4 day.
Fans of the iconic space opera franchise attended the '25 Years of Lego Star Wars @ Siam Paragon' event being held at the Siam Paragon Mall in Bangkok.
The event's grand opening was launched on April 30, just days before Star Wars Day on May 4 - a nod to the iconic line 'May the force be with you'.
Visitors can learn how to wield a lightsaber and even earn a certification at the Star Wars Lightsaber Academy or they can peruse the vintage Star Wars lego collection at the '25th Year of Lego Star Wars' exhibit.
Toy enthusiasts were also given the chance to customise their own creations at the 'Lego Brick Pool and Mini Game' zone, or become Lego Star Wars characters themselves using an AI filter at the 'Lego Be the Next Hero' zone.
The 75382 TIE Interceptor set will also be released for the first time in Thailand exclusively at the event.
The '25 Years of Lego Star Wars @ Siam Paragon' will run from April 30 to May 6 at Bangkok's Siam Paragon Mall.
