A mother's quick reflexes halted a baby stroller near a traffic danger in southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on April 22 shows a parked baby stroller suddenly starting to move and roll towards a busy road.

Just as the stroller neared the bustling traffic, the mother, sensing danger, acted swiftly, dashing to intercept it just in time. With nerves of steel, she managed to halt the runaway stroller, preventing what could have been a devastating accident.

According to reports, the mother stopped the stroller with her baby inside at the door of a shop and went to throw the rubbish at the roadside. However, the stroller was not stopped properly and slid down the road.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
