STORYLINE:
The third edition of the "Tell China's Stories" contest for students from Mongolia's general educational schools was held in Ulan Bator on Friday.
The contest, co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, the Confucius Institute at the National University of Mongolia and the Chinese Proficiency Test Center in Mongolia, aims to promote cultural exchanges between China and Mongolia, according to the organizers.
Students from several schools across Mongolia participated in the contest with 31 works. Erdenetsog Enkhmend, a Grade 11 student from the Khishig school based in Ulan Bator, won first place with his performance of the Chinese story "Three heroes fight against Lyu Bu."
All participants of the contest were awarded certificates and prizes based on their performances.
