Helicopter rescues couple stranded on roof during Brazil floods
This is the dramatic moment a couple who were stranded on a roof were airlifted to safety during floods in Brazil on May 2.
The region in Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, has been battered by heavy rain since April 28 causing the country's worst floods in 80 years.
Footage shows a Military Brigade helicopter rescuing the couple who were clinging to each other atop their almost submerged home.
Officials said at least 37 people have been killed with another 74 still missing in the record-breaking floods which have devastated cities and forced thousands to leave their homes..
