STORYLINE:

A group of university students from China's Wuhan have
forged deep connections with over 400 high school students
in Shuanghe in China's Xinjiang, through the exchange of letters

Over the past years, graduate students from Wuhan University have served
as volunteer teachers at a senior high school in Shuanghe, and after
they returned, they continued to stay in touch through correspondence

"After exchanging more than a dozen letters with that sister (from Wuhan University), I not only made significant progress in my studies but also found answers to many doubts I have about life. With the college entrance examination approaching, I was indecisive about my future major and university choices, but under her guidance, I now have a firm goal, which is to attend Wuhan University."

"Currently, over 450 students from the senior high school have been engaged in correspondence with students from Wuhan University, with about 3,400 letters exchanged. At Wuhan University, more than 400 students from over 20 colleges have participated in the program. As I see it, the students at Wuhan University have helped high school students in Xinjiang address various uncertainties regarding life, studies, and mental well-being. The significance of this program lies not only in imparting knowledge but also in fostering cultural exchange and integration."
