Michigan’s Graduation Is Disrupted by Pro-Palestinian Parade in Michigan University
Pro-Palestinian supporters briefly disrupted the commencement ceremony at the University of Michigan and were met by state police on Saturday, as universities around the country braced for turmoil over the war in Gaza during graduations.
According to filmer Benny Shaevsky ( please give video credit) I am a graduating senior at the University of Michigan. This was my graduation ceremony at Michigan Stadium
The anti-Israel protestors began when the secretary of the navy began speaking and a plane with the anti-Israel message began circulating in the air. The protesters were violating graduation rules by carrying flags and disrupting the graduation to the point where I could not hear the speakers. Despite this the police refused to remove them and thus continued during the remainder of the ceremony
