Community Open Day at Martin Place Station, Sydney, Australia
Members of the public were invited to a community open day to see inside the new Martin Place metro station ahead of its opening. Visitors were given the opportunity to access the station, see some of the public art, and walk through the concourse level and new metro platforms 25 metres below ground. This metro station is integrated with the existing Martin Place Station and serves Sydney’s commercial and financial district, the Macquarie Street precinct and the Pitt Street retail zone.
