Paralysed kitten moves again thanks to owner's DIY wheelchair
A paralysed kitten moved again thanks to his owner's DIY wheelchair.
Axie was hit by a motorcycle while playing outside their home which injured both his hind limbs in Northern Mindanao province, the Philippines.
His owners made a wheelchair for him using cardboard and an old toy truck for parts so Axie could now freely wander around the house with his siblings.
Footage shows Axie rolling across the living room with the wheelchair strapped to his body. When he wasn't wearing the wheels, he dragged his body with his front limbs to play with the other cats in their home.
Pet owner Wheiljane Ruiz said: 'My Axie is a really strong kitten. I am happy when I see him being energetic.'
