Knife-wielding woman refuses to pay bus fare, threatens police with knife in Sverdlovsk
On April 16, 2024, in Reftinsky, Sverdlovsk, Russia, a tense situation unfolded aboard a bus bound for Asbest when a woman refused to pay her fare and brandished a knife. Eyewitnesses reported that after a dispute with the conductor, the woman became aggressive, pointing the weapon at both passengers and police officers who arrived at the scene. The conductor, fearing for her safety, fled the bus and alerted law enforcement. Subsequently, officers managed to disarm the woman and remove her from the vehicle without further incident.
