USA: Police K9 Unit Crashes During Pursuit Into Sign in Covina, LA

Covina PD was in pursuit of a vehicle when one of their police canine units crashed into a sign at E. Rowland Street and E. Shoppers Lane in the city of Covina. The officer was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition. The officer's dog was transferred over to another officer. Unknown if the dog suffered any injury during the crash. Covina PD did take the suspect into custody on the 10 Freeway westbound at Azusa Avenue.
