USA: Tesla Driver Killed in High Speed Crash in West Covina, LA
05/02/2024 01:50 am (GMT-0700) | WEST COVINA, Calif.
West Covina PD and West Covina FD responded to a traffic collision with one person trapped inside a vehicle at the 1100 block of S. Orange Avenue in the city of West Covina. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they pronounced the driver inside the vehicle deceased. The West Covina FD confirmed that the vehicle was a Tesla, but the model type was unknown. It is unclear at this time if the driver was driving in autopilot or if speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash. West Covina PD has both north and southbound Orange Avenue closed as they investigated the fatality crash.
