USA: 17 Year Old Shot at Skate Park in Canoga Park, LA With Witness Interview

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 21000 block of Lanark Street at the skate park within the Lanark Park Recreation Center. Upon arrival, LAPD located a 17-year-old male was who was shot in the hip by an unknown suspect. According to initial information from the LAPD, the suspect approached the 17-year-old male and words were exchanged. The suspect then pulled out a gun, shot the victim and then fled the scene. The victim was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to a local hospital.
