Bermuda: US SailGP Team's Horrific Fall Caught on Camera

In a heart-stopping turn of events during the third fleet race of practice day, the United States SailGP team encountered a dramatic capsize, sending shockwaves through the sailing community. Data retrieved from the team's F50 revealed that the mishap, which saw five out of six crew members plunging into the water, was precipitated by crew error.
The incident unfolded as the US team navigated the waters on the reach to Mark 1, with the top of the wing unexpectedly inverting, causing the F50 to abruptly flip over.
The aftermath of the capsize revealed significant damage to the wing of the US F50, rendering it unfit for immediate repair and precluding the team's participation in official racing in Bermuda.
