USA: Fatal Hit-and-Run Auto Vs Pedestrian in East Los Angeles

CHP East Los Angeles officers and LASD deputies responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian call on Atlantic Boulevard just north of Olympic Boulevard.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a victim down in the roadway.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by LACoFD.
The vehicle that struck the pedestrian is described as a red Toyota that fled the scene.
No further details at this time.
