A naughty cat knocked over seven cups of water left by its owner before he went for holiday getaway in northern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Chifeng in Inner Mongolia on April 29.

The owner named Mr. Wu, who had gone on a trip during the Labour Day holidays, left seven cups of water for his cat at home. However, to his surprise, when he checked the surveillance footage, he found that the cat had knocked over all the water cups.

Wu explained that he had previously used bowls and basins to leave water for the cat, but it preferred drinking from disposable paper cups and had never knocked them over before. This time, while playing, the cat accidentally knocked over the water, and upon seeing the spill, it seemed delighted and proceeded to knock over the rest of the cups one by one.

Fortunately, Wu had left a spare key with a nearby friend, who promptly refilled the water in the basin.
