STORYLINE:

Four international exhibitions on clinical equipment, medical tourism and services have been held in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka in a bid to enrich sector insiders with the knowledge of the latest technologies and innovations.
   
The expos have attracted agents, distributors, importers, trading companies, wholesalers, retailers, hospitals, business representatives, consumers, other bulk purchasers and related technologies from the South Asia region and beyond.
   
Conference and Exhibition Management Services Limited (CEMS), a global event management company, organized the international expo titled "15th Meditex Bangladesh" through its Bangladeshi wing on Thursday.

"Bangladesh is a very good market, a target export market for Chinese medical equipment manufacturers. We found good partners here, and we come here to work with our clients to expand the market."

Three more exhibitions, the Seventh International Health Tourism and Service Expo, Eighth Bangladesh Clinical Lab Expo and 10th Pharma Bangladesh 2024 International Expo, are also held simultaneously.
   
The exhibitions feature new medical devices and equipment, surgical instruments, dental equipment, diagnostic equipment, as well as hospital equipment and supplies from scores of companies from Bangladesh, China and other countries, said the organizers.

"Chinese friends are regular visitors. They think Bangladesh is a potential market and they come here again and again to display their products."
