The 9th edition of the national festival of women's creation is underway in Algeria's capital Algiers.
This festival highlights the skills and expertise of Algerian women, showcasing their contributions to preserving traditional costumes and crafts.
Under the theme "Costumes and jewelry, heritage through history," the festival is scheduled to run from May 10 to May 17.
During the week-long event, traditional costume designers and artists from all over the country will present their creations with a modern perspective.
The festival also includes workshops in embroidery, jewelry making and design, as well as a dedicated space for museums.
In parallel with the exhibition, lectures on fashion, jewelry and ornaments will also be organized.
