Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Flypast.
We are very fortunate to have a real treat for this event! TWO Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfires do a flypast of the Wirksworth Station site at approximately 13:50.
The Vintage Road and Rail Event at Wirksworth Station features classic road transport from before 1986 including cars, lorries, buses and traction engines on display for a nostalgic trip to the past. Steam and diesel trains will be playing their part too making it a true vintage transport day out.
