As fate would have it, the camera was perfectly positioned to capture the moment when one dirt bike rider collided with the rear of a van.
After the rider slowly got up, the rider realized the police was right behind and fled on foot.

Suddenly, police arrived on the scene, and a young officer swiftly pursued the suspect.

The filmer followed the chase as much as possible, then panned the camera back to reveal the damage caused to the van.

Info from Licensor: "I was sitting in Manhattan in March near the port authority when I saw some bikes start flying by. I’m really into bikes, so I pulled my phone out and started to record. I just kept filming the bikes go by keeping the camera steady in the one area, and my phone was just pointed in the right location to witness the one dirt bike rider smash into the rear of a van. He slowly got up, and then realized the cops were behind him and took off running. All of a sudden the cops come speeding up out of nowhere skid to a stop and some young super fast cop starts pursuit. I followed him chasing the guy who crashed as much as I could, and then I panned the camera back to the damage of the van."
