5月4日下午，重庆市涪陵区美心红酒小镇中的游乐项目“大摆锤”突然发生悬停，“倒栽葱”式停摆，游客倒挂在空中达2分多钟。 目击游客拍摄的视频显示，“大摆锤”悬停在设备最高点处，多名游客在高空中倒挂，虽然设备停止了摆动，但“大摆锤”的头部仍在不停地旋转，现场不断发出惊叫声。有旁观游客表示，“绝对是故障了，在上面挂了两分钟了！” 5月5日，美心红酒小镇景区工作人员回应称，事件发生后，工作人员及时采取应急措施，设备约两分钟后恢复正常运行，游客平安着地，无人员受伤，这次事件是“大摆锤”到达顶点后恰好处于平衡状态所致。 该工作人员表示，“这个是属于偶发事件，本身也不是设备的问题。”同时，该工作人员称，目前“大摆锤”项目暂停运行，景区的各项设备都会进行检查。 据了解，美心红酒小镇景区位于重庆市涪陵区。值得注意的是，今年4月25日，美心红酒小镇刚被评定为国家4A级旅游景区。美心红酒小镇曾发文称，“景区严格按照国家4A级旅游景区评定标准，着力在硬件设施、特色旅游、服务管理、文化提升等方面‘下功夫’，在观光游览、旅游交通、旅游安全、资源和环境保护、旅游购物、旅游服务等全方面进行了提质升级。”
