In a daring nighttime cliff rescue operation, Henry-1 helicopter swooped in to save two individuals stranded near Alamere Falls in Marin County. The call for assistance came in around 9 PM from the Marin County Fire Department, reporting that two hikers found themselves trapped by the encroaching tide after enjoying the sunset on the beach. Despite their attempts to navigate the rising waters, they remained marooned, prompting the need for specialized assistance due to the remote location.

Henry-1, renowned for its expertise in nighttime long-line rescues, swiftly mobilized to the scene. Utilizing the helicopter's advanced lighting systems, the rescue team located the stranded hikers on a precarious ledge approximately 200 feet above the rocky shoreline. With precision and skill, Henry-1 executed a meticulous operation, employing a 100-foot long line to extract the victims one by one.

Under the guidance of the Tactical Flight Officer (TFO), the victims were secured in rescue harnesses and airlifted to safety on a nearby bluff. There, awaiting paramedics provided medical evaluation, assessing the hikers for cold exposure but thankfully finding them otherwise unharmed. Subsequently, the rescued individuals were transferred to the care of Bolinas Fire Department personnel at a nearby parking lot.
