Spain: Civil Guard Seizes 11,400 Kilograms of Hashish off Huelva Coast
Huelva, Spain - May 12, 2024
The Civil Guard has seized six boats, three of them equipped with four engines each, and a total of 293 bundles of hashish, weighing a total of 11,400 kilograms, off the coast of Huelva, in an operation that also resulted in the arrest of seven individuals.
The interventions were carried out by agents of the Maritime Service of Huelva who caught the occupants of the semi-rigid boats sailing close to the coast and attempting to flee at high speed. However, they were later intercepted by the agents, as reported by the Civil Guard in a statement.
The occupants of the boats threw the bundles overboard, but they were later recovered by the Civil Guard agents.
