STORYLINE:
Hong Kong saw 3.4 million visitor arrivals in April, up around 20 percent year on year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board said Tuesday.
In the first four months of this year, Hong Kong registered about 14.62 million tourist arrivals, doubling the number of the same period last year, the tourism board said in a press release.
Data showed that in April, Hong Kong recorded about 2.48 million visitor arrivals from the Chinese mainland.

"The HKSAR government will roll out a series of measures to attract tourists and make them feel at home and experience the charm of Hong Kong as an international metropolis and food capital. The Hong Kong Tourism Board will distribute 200 Hong Kong dollars (about 25.6 U.S. dollars) coupons to individual tourists in eight cities, allowing them to spend money at different restaurants and shops."
