A tarpaulin uprooted by gusts sent two men enjoying a midnight snack tumbling outdoors in central China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province on May 15.

Two men were enjoying a late-night snack outdoors when suddenly, strong winds swept through the area. Initially unfazed, the pair continued calmly eating and chatting. However, another intense gust of wind lifted the tarpaulin right from under them, knocking over the duo.

Startled, they quickly got up, struggling to make their way back indoors. Fortunately, according to the night snack shop owner, the two men escaped unharmed.

据河南省气象局介绍，受较强冷空气南下，叠加强对流效应，5月14日20时至15日8时，河南省淮河以北出现大范围强风天气，大部出现8到10级大风，新乡西北部、郑州西部、许昌北部局部12到13级。
