West Sumatra 15 May 2024 - This is the condition of the SAR (Search and Rescue) team carrying out a search along the Batang Anai River, West Sumatra, starting from the point where 15 victims disappeared, due to the flash flood and cold lava disaster that hit Agam Regency, Tanah Datar Regency , and Padang Panjang City.

This combing is carried out by checking the condition of the rocks and ensuring that there are no suspicious conditions. This is because of the eight victims found in this river basin, most of them were found buried under rocks.

This river sweep only ensures the riverbank area and does not carry out inspections of conditions in the water.

Until the fourth day of the search, the total number of fatalities that had been found by the joint SAR team reached 59 victims, and there are still 16 more people who are still being searched for now.

Apart from that, data from the Regional Disaster Management Agency of the 59 victims who died, there were 5 victims who had not been identified.
