The beautiful halo was known as the Circumhorizontal arc, created by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere refracting the sun's rays.
Been captured by filmer Mr. Wang at the Xidan intersection in Xicheng District, Beijing, the phenomenon drew the attention of many Chinese onlookers, who marveled at the rare and picturesque sight, capturing the moment as a breathtaking blend of science and natural beauty.
