On May 14th, within the Yibin Wildlife Park in Sichuan, southern China, employees placed foot covers on the limbs of a baby tiger and muzzle covers on its mouth, allowing visitors to hold it for photographs while the young tiger intermittently emitted roaring sounds.

On May 15th, the Yibin Forestry and Bamboo Bureau responded, stating that after a preliminary investigation, the interaction between visitors and the young tiger at the zoo was confirmed. This action falls under the inappropriate behavior of "close contact with wild animals" outlined in the notice issued by the National Forestry Administration in 2010 regarding the regulation of wildlife observation and exhibition activities. The zoo's operating company has been issued a rectification notice, requiring immediate action to prohibit visitors from taking close-up photos with young tigers and other wildlife, and prohibiting zoo staff from encouraging such close contact behavior with young tigers and other wildlife.

The video was provided with permission from local media.
