In a heartwarming display of canine communication, 18-month-old Milo, a black greyhound in Boston, Massachusetts, attempts to engage his friend Kiki in play.

With an eager expression, Milo brings a toy, expecting it to be thrown. When his playful gesture goes unnoticed, he gently places his paw on top of Kiki. Suddenly, Milo emits a pre-bark, followed by a more insistent bark. That's when Kiki was startled and gave him the attention he sought.

The filmer told Newsflare: "He's a goofy noodle, a very gentle and shy boy, but if he likes you he will feel comfortable enough to bring you a toy and bark at you to demand playing with him. He smiles and shows his teeth when sees people he likes."
