A mum in Fort Myers, Florida, filmed her son's heartbreaking confession about being bullied at school.

The filmer told Newsflare: "A kid spread a rumour that my 12-year-old son was bringing a knife to school to cut his friends throat. He was hysterical running to me in the parking lot (I was still at the school during drop off) and the principal confronted the kid about the lie he spread. The kid admitted to spreading the lie about Hunter, and the principal spoke to the entire class about it (while my son was in the car).

"In the car, my son was crying and told me he doesn’t want to live anymore. I pulled the camera out and started recording, to send to dad and principal. On the drive away from the school my son saw the video in my text and asked me to share the video to tell parents to teach their kids that it’s important to be nice and only speak truth, and your words make an impact."
