The "I wish I was a candle" exhibition, a collaborative effort between Egyptian and Palestinian artists in Cairo, runs from May 7 till the end of the month in the Egyptian capital at Artox Gallery.
Shedding light on the Palestinian cause, the display seeks to raise global awareness.
Cairo is home to a large number of Gazan artists. Reflecting shared emotions towards the situation in Gaza, the artists from Gaza and Egypt join forces to denounce the ongoing hardships faced by the Palestinian people.
Profits from the exhibition will be dedicated to supporting Palestinian artists and students in need of financial aid.
