Ominous clouds engulfed homes in Canada amid resurgent brushfires.
Footage shows the sky darkening due to the build-up of smoke and gases from the fires as seen from Fort MucMurray in Alberta on May 15.
The video was taken at the epicentre of wildfire activity, where there was dense smoke, signalling heightened danger.
Approximately 30 minutes following the recording, evacuation orders were issued for specific neighbourhoods.
The intense smoke was attributed to adverse weather conditions exacerbating fire activity, compounded by the fire's encroachment into the burn scar area of 2016, characterized by distinct fuel properties.
