Two dogs that were trapped on the edge of a cliff were rescued in Thailand.

The male Poodles were seen by locals wandering around a rocky hill but did not leave from the same spot for three days in Trang province.

They were unable to climb down the steep path so concerned onlookers called the rescuers for help who arrived to evacuate them on May 12.

Footage shows a rescue team member using a hoe to make a wider path so that the canines could safely descend.

But as they refused to walk along on their own, the rescuer had to use a pole with string to pull them one by one.

One of the rescuers said: ‘It took around three hours to save the dogs because of the terrain.

‘We were still waiting for their owners to show up and claim them, but it looks like they were abandoned.'

The pooches would be turned over to an animal shelter for proper caring.
