STORYLINE:

The Hong Kong International Airport Career Expo 2024 was held on Friday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, providing a platform for those interested in the aviation industry. 

The three-day event featured over 45 companies offering around 7,500 job vacancies across areas such as ground services, cabin services, aircraft maintenance, air cargo, airport security, retail and catering.

"We can see a much higher visitor flow compared to the previous year. We have around 40 to 50 vacancies across different roles including customer service, ground service, office staff and cabin attendant."

The expo attracts a large number of job seekers.

"I'm about to graduate this year from the Polytechnic University. I think that there are a lot of great opportunities, especially as a university student."

Chief Executive Officer at the Airport Authority stated that the airport is pushing forward major development projects like the "Airport City" and "Three-runway System," while continuing to apply innovative technologies to create more high-value job opportunities.
