The incident unfolded on Tuesday when a man suddenly suffered a medical episode and tumbled onto the tracks, perilously close to the electrified third rail. Compounding the danger, an oncoming train was rapidly approaching the station.
With split-second decision-making, officers sprang into action, risking their own safety to rescue the stricken individual. Acting swiftly, they managed to pull the man to safety just moments before the train arrived at the station.
