Footage of a dad checking his son's shoes after he left them outside overnight, discovering a spider with a nasty bite living inside one of them.

The video, filmed in Western Australia in March 2016, shows the dad checking the shoe which appears to already have a web woven inside it.

Towards the end of the video, after the dad spays the trainer a number of times, the spider crawls out and reveals itself.

The filmer later wrote online: "My son left his shoes outside overnight and picked up an unwanted guest.

"Commonly referred to as a window spider, she is not deadly, but her bite still would pack a punch."

"Always check your shoes," he continued.
