At 15:00 on May 17, a fire broke out in a private house in Beicang Village, southern China. According to eyewitness footage, when the fire occurred, the husband and wife with two young children turned out of the window of the burning house and shouted for help.

During this time, the two of them held the child and stepped on the sloping eaves to move to the nearby roof. Fortunately, a family of four people successfully rescued themselves, and firefighters also arrived in time to quickly dispose of the fire, and the open fire was extinguished at 15:35.

According to Kunming fire news, the fire building is a brick-concrete residential structure, construction area of about 460 square meters, the fire area of about 30 square meters, no casualties. At present, the cause of the fire and direct property damage are under investigation and statistics.

It is understood that the fire of the civil house is a color steel tile house covered by the self-built house, in addition to the owner of the house, other rooms are used for rent. The people trapped in the fire are the tenants who live here. The contents of the fire scene were almost destroyed by the fire, and there was a mess. 据昆明消防消息，起火建筑为砖混结构居民住宅，建筑面积约460平方米，过火面积约30平方米，无人员伤亡。目前，起火原因、直接财产损失等情况正在调查统计之中。
经了解，起火的民房系自建房上加盖的彩钢瓦房，除了房主自住，其它房间都用于出租。火情中的被困人员，正是在此居住的租客。火灾现场内的物品几乎被大火烧尽，一片狼藉。钢梁、彩钢瓦等也被烧得完全变形，大部分已经坍塌，摇摇晃晃，看着十分危险。
