STORYLINE:

The Abidjan Universities Festival (FUA) concluded on Saturday at Felix Houphouet-Boigny University in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.

The two-day event attracted more than 10,000 students from over 20 universities in the country.

Various training programs and competitions were organized to help students learn about entrepreneurship, green business, e-commerce and artificial intelligence.

SOUNDBITE 1 (French): SANA RAHIM, General director of Abidjan Universities Festival
"The objective is to train, inform, integrate and create young Ivorian talents. That is to say, bring young people towards entrepreneurship and make them understand that they do not necessarily have to rely on the state."

SOUNDBITE 2 (French): ISMAEL TOURE, President of organizing committee
"Through this activity, we can not only invite the country to support college student entrepreneurship projects, but also enable college students to start thinking about practical issues of entrepreneurship and improve their practical capabilities in various professional work fields through training."

SOUNDBITE 3 (French): AMIRA TRA LOU, Student
"I am very happy to receive this award. In order to win this award, I put in a lot of effort, watched a lot of videos, and learned a lot from professional public speakers. All of this hard work paid off."

SOUNDBITE 4 (French): EMMANUEL N'GUESSAN, Student
"It wasn't easy because we didn't have enough preparation time. But despite this, we managed to produce something that impressed the jury."

SOUNDBITE 5 (French): FATOUMATA SIDIBE, Student
"I am very happy to have been able to provide my opinion on the subject of employability in Cote d'Ivoire because it is a problem that concerns us all. We are all called on to access the job market. So I think the ideas we put forward today will help some of us get through this tomorrow."
