Chinese man uses kayak to shop for rice noodles in heavily flooded streets
On May 19, in Nanning, southern China, severe flooding followed heavy rains, submerging streets. A young man was spotted kayaking to a nearby shop, returning with two servings of rice noodles.
The man, a kayaking enthusiast who usually trains in the Yong River, explained that due to the deep floodwaters making driving impossible, he decided to use his kayak instead. He lives nearby, and the round trip was about two kilometers. He described the unique shopping experience as quite amusing.
