A taekwondo master from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, has been entered into the Guinness World Records after smashing flaming concrete blocks.

N Narayanan, a taekwondo instructor, set the world record by breaking 29 flaming concrete blocks in just 30 seconds.

The taekwondo guru has now achieved his 33rd Guinness World Records title.

Narayanan's journey in taekwondo began in 2009 after a disappointing loss in a competition, which motivated him to take the sport seriously.

Under the guidance of his master, Venkatesan, he transformed into a professional martial artist. Despite a successful career in IT, Narayanan's passion for taekwondo led him to establish the Madurai taekwondo Academy in 2015.

At his academy, Narayanan offers free classes to students from government schools and colleges, aiming to build confidence and discipline among young people. His wife, N Shruthy, also a taekwondo practitioner, assists in teaching and has inspired many to pursue martial arts.
