The SDRF officials rescued three injured people in a car accident that occurred in northern India's Uttarakhand.

The incident took place near Shikhar Fall in the Rajpur area of Dehradun district on May 20.

Visuals showed using ropes, the SDRF team descended into the ravine and managed to rescue three injured individuals—two men and one woman. They were carried out on stretchers and sent to the hospital via ambulance.

A Thar vehicle (license plate UK01D3333) lost control and fell 200 meters into a ravine. The vehicle was carrying five passengers—three men and two women.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was alerted by the Control Room (CCR) in Dehradun and dispatched a rescue team led by Sub-Inspector Lakshmi Rawat. The team promptly arrived at the scene equipped with necessary rescue tools.

Unfortunately, one man and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Their bodies were retrieved and handed over to the district police for further proceedings.
